Recommended Hotels/Motels in the following areas –

Anaheim (central location between Fallbrook  & LA; right next to NAMM Convention; near Orange Cty Beaches); after having spent the past hour checking rates at hotels nearby the Convention Ctr, they are all booked for the dates of NAMM.  If you’re going to stay in Anaheim, you’ll wind up staying a couple of miles away, which isn’t really a big deal; I like these

  • Sheraton Anaheim Hotel [4 star] (Expedia) – approx. $189/night
  • Ayres Hotel Anaheim [3 star] (Expedia) – approx. $159/night
  • Lemon Tree Hotel Anaheim [3 star] (Expedia) – approx. $785/night

Fallbrook (if you’re just coming down for the Saturday event at my place, this is the best area to stay; all of these places are within 10 min.s from my house)

  • Pala Mesa Resort [3.5 star] (1-760-728-5881)  – approx. $150/night
  • Pala Casino & Resort [4 star] (1-877-725-2766) – approx. $170/night
  • Rodeway Inn [2.5 star] (1-760-728-6174) – approx. $69/night
  • Econo Lodge Inn [2.5 star] (1-760-723-1127) – approx. $50/night

    So Terry, Are you coming?

I only, by accident, stumbled across this page; I thought a link to this page was going to be posted on the FM Home Page, but I don’t see it.
No “latest” RSVP list; I can’t seem to get anyone to commit. There are several people who’ve said they’re coming, but are now non-commital; which I totally understand, it’s a very big trip for many, but that’s why there’s no latest RSVP; people are still trying to decide I guess.
So far thought, we know that Diane & Ted; Kim (Pky) & husband; Pierre & Mike; Fred & Brooke; and about 3 – 5 local & visiting musicians will be here (a fiddler, a violinist, a cellist, & a violist).
Pierre, if there was a way to make this page more visible, we might get an RSVP response; any way to do that???
Pierre has posted all of the sheet music for everyone to practice and bring.
I’m really looking forward to it; just hope a bunch of people can make it!

We’re in! We booked our flights last night. Flying out on Wed. 1/23 and going home on Sun. 1/27. (Fingers crossed that there are no blizzards or other complications.) So looking forward to meeting everyone. What’s the latest RSVP list?

Haha, a seven seater, bloody predictive text!

Terry, I am not coming, but if I were I would NOT be sharing a sweater with you and five other people!!! LOL

Cheapest hotel/motel for me. Hell, my first time in the US! Who wants to sleep?
I’ll be travelling round ( NOT Disney!) so if anyone wants to bum around SoCal for a few days before and after THE jam, let me know.
I think I can get a 7 sweater as part if my fly-drive experience.
