How do you dress country?
Thanks for the link Kevin – I got it
……….Dress Country……you put your hair in pig tails and wear a cowboy hat!……I can send you one if you like, got a couple of fun ones here at the office left over from a show we did…..if you want me to send you one? We prob won't use them again, and you'd look cute in it!
I'm working on violin 3 and was wondering is someone could explain the double stops to me? We didn't get that far when I was taking lessons. I know there is a video but my iPhone won't play it and I have sleeping guests in my computer/ guest room. If you could just explain the first measure that starts with AC AC then DD – do I bow the D and A string? And which notes do you finger? Sorry if I sound dumb…
I will definitely be making demo videos for every single part but in the meanwhile, just play one of the notes at a time. You don't really ever need to do the double stops.
With double stops you play two strings at once using the two notes indicated, or something nice that fits in with the parts for our group project. If anyone would like to do their own comp for the project that would be fine too, just make sure that it all fits with the key and tempo. You could always test it against one of my demos or the midi files.
If someone wants to play just the base note of the chord with whole, half or quarter notes, that will fit in nicely too. Even an off beat chop would enhance it…..
I want this video to build throughout to the end with a possibility of 2, 4, clapping, kettle banging, tambourine, whatever you guys can come up with that would blend in nicely. Like a big party jam……
