@Barry Thank you for the treat.

I got a great SURPRISE in the mail last week.  Barry sent me "Learn to Play Irish Fiddler, by Phillip John Berthound."  It is a MelBay Book, with audio Cds to play along. banana

It gave me a smile and some happy tears. exactly  I cherish it.   I am reading it from the beginning and playing the exercises.  They are rather fun, I can't remember the name of the first song.  IT is a little polka jig or something.  I am at work now so I can't recall. 1st-place

Anyway, I just wanted to share my wonderful gift.  Look out world... I am going to also be an Irish Fiddler!!!! devil-violin

Thanks Fiddle Friend.heartnoteheartnote

That's really cool! I hope you get to learn a lot. :D

By the way, that gave me an idea. I don't know if it's know all over the world, but here in Brazil we have a game called "secret friend", translating freely. In that game, each player draws the name of another player, and then gifts him/her. Then the person who received the gift has to guess who gave it to her. There is a variation in which the person who is to give the gift gives hints about who she's giving the gift to and other people have to guess who it is.

It'd be cool if we made something similar here in FM. :D

@coolpinkone

You are quite welcome   :)   look forward to hearing you play some. Even the very simple tunes in the book are catchy and easy to play a long with the CD.. glad you like it

Welcome.  You know you have to drink while playing from that book lol.

If we do a secret santa (secret leprechaun?), I'm in.

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
