Oh beautiful. I especially love the gorgeous inlay. Have fun.
Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
Thanks everyone. I'm really enjoying getting to know my new mandolin, which I've named Amanda Lynn (get it?).
The inlay work is lovely and I think the style and workmanship in an F-style mando is so cool.
Yes, I think that I won't be able to resist doing a three-part video...as soon as I'm proficient enough on the mando.

Beautiful instrument!! I didn't know the tuning was the same as fiddle. Cool.

Oh my word, that is beautiful! Look at that scroll!* And I love her name. Your Silent Night trio was great, so bring on more videos please!
*It's probably not called a scroll on mandolins/guitars etc... but I don't know the right term...

@KindaScratchy: Sorry for my belated compliment on your new mandolin. I saw this post earlier on, and then lost track of it.
Anyway, that's a beautiful instrument! And what a nice gift for you too.
And I love that you named it "Amanda Lynn".....lol! It's perfect
