I had the pleasure of meeting Fiddlerman member @Ripton and his daughter today at the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival in Framingham, Massachusetts.  We even had the opportunity to have a little hallway jam. Just had to share. 🙂

When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.

Thanks again @KindaScratchy... Had a lot to learn including how to jam, thanks for your patience....

While the sessions on technique were very helpful, the sessions on specific songs sort of left my head spinning. Katha had a lot of fun as well and I hope learned a few things. Surprisingly Terry even enjoyed her day, although we didn't see much of each other. The only draw back I can think of is there was not enough time to see and do everything I wanted to.

I said the same thing to Mr. Scratchy tonight...it's so hard to choose from among all the things going on at once at Joe Val: band performances, workshops and jamming. I tend to go for the jamming as I feel that I need a lot more experience playing with others. I sampled a little bit of everything today and learned a lot.

Looking forward to seeing you at Fiddle Hell 2016!
