Well, I got my fiddle.  Picked it up used at the local guitar shop.  It's a Wm. Lewis and sons.  Probably 15 or so years old.

  Violin, bow, rosin, molded hardcase, $100.

  I am one happy future fiddler.

As stated, it is a journey. Hopefully a long term commitment. We all go through times when you just don't feel like you have the time or energy. Honestly, speaking from just a week ago, I ended one of my "slumps". Stick with it, enjoy what you play and join in here when you can.

Its an amazing instrument. So simple to look at, but incredibly complex to master. Enjoy the ride. Its a worthwhile one for sure.
