So until I can get the Suzuki repetoire for Cello I am foolin around with a book I got at the Library. It came with a cd and dvd so Im stoked. Inbox me if you wanna learn along at the same time. I find it helps me stay motivated and challenged to have a playing partner(s). I can always inbox you the dots.

just trying to get the guys and gals who already have one to get on board and play for fun. If that is tempting to you.....go for it! I do know that if you try to hold it in...you might explode! Let it out man!

Yeah, I know how it all happens.

First of all you decide to try a little 'violin'. What harm could it do? The next thing you know you want more, perhaps a little 'fiddle'. The next thing you know the violin you first tried just isn't giving what you need so you go out and buy 'better' violin.

As time passes you feel the need for a 'heavier' hit and suddenly you are on the slippery slope and you buy your first 'viola' and for a time your cravings are satisfied.

But then, the craving starts again, you need more. You start thinking, "I wonder how good 'cello' is?"

From there, Cello is only one step from sitting in a corner crying while clinging onto a 'Double Bass'.

I'm not going 'there' mate.rofl

unfortunatly I already owned or had access to my instruments. Im more like a string instrument pimp than a addict. lol. Cello is wicked fun, not that much different than violin technically, imo. of course I could be missing something, lol.

I love the sound of the Cello > someday > if I am around > I will have one.
