It's nearly May!
Summer's about to start!
It's 4degC!
Gales are raging!
The lashing rain is coming down horizontal!
It hasn't stopped raining since the water shortages and hosepipe ban was anounced!

What an absolutely perfect day for a whole lot of violin practice, bring it on!!

I am amazed at how old people of my age are.....

I will check later today to see if, indeed, you have stopped making any posts in favor of practicing thereby evaluating the extent  of your devotion to the cause.

You have such a positive attitude Terry. I love it.

Yay violin practice on a rainy day! Perfect song for the mood also! Looks hard to play! and what's wrong with the bow? It looked ok for me? cheerleader

OK.  So far so good.

Before I read the fine print in your post I noticed that your bow is pretty straight AND you use a lot of it in your playing.  That is desirable but not usual in students.

If you are reading this then you are not practicing so you know what you have to do.

I say!
ftufc! My hosepipe is staying in a perfectly legal place!

And I'll reciprocate by interposing whenever possible over here, with the relevant colonial colloquialism, darn it!

Wet weather here too today. I have been practicing He's a Pirate #5 off and on in between chores today. I almost have the fingering down, now if I can just play along to the rapid clickety clackety of the click track I will be set!

I share your pain! I get so far through and then forget to listen to the ticking timebomb in my ear.
But at least we both finish at the same time now.
How about a video of your practice ? Show me yours and I'll show you mine!
