hey guvs, do we sometimes have an online party, where we chat online by groups? if not, we should! in the robot world, we have robot parties every thursday, we sometimes chat about robot stuff, or anything we like, live online!, here's an example of a video of our robot party (unfortunately, i'm not present on that party):
my idea is that we should have one! we can have parties on Google+, where we can meet up, chat stuff live, and for those who can't come, can watch it live on youtube (yes, you can stream a live video feed on youtube)….now, who agrees say aye!
and if many of you agrees, we should have a host, a date and time, and it should be once a week, or month, or whatever you like!

I think your Idea is very feasible and could possibly be a lot of fun too.

Sounds good to me. You're talking about a live video chat, right? The challenge will be finding a good time, given all the time zones involved. It wont be possible to accommodate everyone, but if it's a recurring thing, if some people cant join one week maybe they can join another week.

"hey, hey, remember!!" what ????? You can only remember something if you've been informed prior to having to recall it in your memory…… You never said anything about "not hosting". I had never heard of Google+ until yesterday when I read your post.
I'm in the market for a new car,,,,what does everyone think about that ?
But remember, I can't make the payments so, one of you guys will have to take that on…. Sound ok ?
OZ,,, do you actually participate in this thing or is this just something you found on Youtube and thought that maybe it would be a good fun thing. If you actually participate in this kind of online video forum, then you should be willing to steer us along, give us some guidence, kinda set it up. "If" you actually participate in it.
Hmmm.. now that I think about it, I guess there wouldn't have to be a regular host, one particular designated person to open the show (so to speak) it could be an open video "Forum" that you could log onto anytime the urge hit you and if there were other's online at that time, you could join in.
There are too many time zone's that we deal with in this "Fiddlerman" forum to have one specific person to host and open the "show" each and every time. It would be near impossible for one person, they would never work or sleep, that being the case.
I checked into "Google+" to see what it was about. It's kinda like "facebook" but the difference with G+ and facebook, is that with "facebook", if you post to it, everyone can read what you say, not so with G+, you can post only to the person/s that you want to see what you have to say or see the picture's you put up.
Also, "Google+" is a FREE download, so i've been told. I'm going to investigate further. It could work, I think.

Although I've had a Google + account for a while, I hadn't really explored it much until now. So, I see that you can video chat in "hangouts" but they're limited to 10 people total. Is there another option where more than 10 can chat (if we have more than 10 who want to participate)? Maybe I'm missing it.
Maybe it doesn't matter if there are fewer than 10.
Another option might be Skype, but I understand that one person needs to have a paid account to set it up.
As for finding a time, we could do a Doodle poll. Or just pick a time.

@Fiddlestix, "and if many of you agrees, we should have a host," there, that should be a right evidence if you have a good logic…..i actually have been there before, i'm a Letsmakerobots member and i sometimes go to that party……the only thing is, i can't "steer you all along" for i'm just a guest from that party, i just signed up on Google+ and join because i was invited(all LMR members are invited), i'm not the host of that party, as i said, it's just an idea, and i don't know where we're gonna do it, it can be at skype, Google+ or anything…..besides, there's no payment on G+.
and for that host, he/she should host the party when he's awake, and it should only be in a single time, maybe an hour or two, if anyone missed it, then that's not the host's fault…..do you know that there are at least a hundred thousand members on Letsmakerobots from all around the world ? but she(the hostess) still managed to make a time for it, besides, you don't have to "Download" Google+!!! it's online!
but if you don't agree…then it's ok for me, it's just an idea….duh!
