Okay - here are a couple of shots of my Cheap Chinese Fiddle for consideration for the calendar -

Yep, I put a rattlesnake rattle in it. Can't say that it improved the sound, but it was in keeping with tradition.

Maybe you can use both of those in one and use the month of Feb or Mar since Naska is wearing a jacket and I get the feeling that it is winter :-)

after receiving a lot of pictures, and using the many screen shots that FM submitted from the Christmas project, I have a final draft done for the first calendar. It's still undecided if we will have two or just this one. I'm waiting for a decision from the boss on that.

Thank you everyone for your submissions and the pictures turned out awesome. I have printed up a hard copy for myself and asked a few of my non-playing friends what they thought of it... the reactions were varied but ALL very positive. The rattlesnake rattle on the violin got the most attention and I had a lot to explain, then the house with a huge 2 story glass violin submitted by OsamaSaady was the next to draw a lot of attention.

One person who was familiar with a Stradivarius name and violins saw the pic I did for FM's "Pirate" project and thought it was pretty cool, and asked if that was REALLY a Strad... of course I lied and said 'yes, of course.'. LOL They'll never know the difference... So, as soon as FM is done with his review and suggestions for modifications we should have it uploaded to the site for all to download and enjoy.

Thanks again to all who donated cheersfor your participation.

I have a suggestion about the "May" page: Maybe other memebrs could send their photos in FM's cap? I know at least 3 of them who have one: Late Bloomer, Kevin and FddlerMan duncecap. Dennis maybe could make a common FM's cap page smiledunno

??????????????????

That would be great and certainly easily done, but I need the pics. Any chance you can strong-arm those individuals and make them produce?

LOL

This means a second calendar is certainly to be considered then.

My husband has a idea of wearing his military uniform playing his violin for July and I have a witch idea for October and both be outside but the snow is flying right now.
