Apocalypses are always such a fizzle. I don't expect it will amount to any more than 1999 did. Same premise.
It did bring an old song to mind, though..

I suppose it will be the end of THEIR world when the unfortunate's don't wake up on Saturday morning.
Exactly whose Saturday are we talking about here? When I wake up this coming Saturday it will still be Friday afternoon in the USA. The world may just end before you have an opportunity to go to bed on Friday......lol
I'm gonna miss internet backgammon and my neighbors roosters.

Absolutely. And even if the end doesn't actually happen, then one still got a good practice/play session in. LOL
Besides, they say Nero played while Rome burned. Well, we can beat that by quite a bit, if the world actually does end. And if we run into Nero in whatever sort of hereafter there might be, we can walk up and say "Ha! Pwned ya, noob!"

I woke on the 22nd and looked out of the window again. Everything was as normal.
I was 'almost' disappointed.
I was more than disappointed...the world could use some change....like a new dominant species. The human brain got a little too big for it's britches.
