Thanks everyone. I appreciate the participation.
It feels like we did it right this time. It's ready to post in time for Christmas.
First time we did a project in such short time too.
Bravo to all of you!!!
@Ripton - I think I probably should have chosen your outdoor performance instead.

I think the real lesson here is that this wasnt a complex tune. It is something that everyone could handle and the parts were written well and easy to follow. I bet if you did a simplified version of Ode to Joy you would get a great deal of participation also.

I think its best to remember this is a site for learning, and those projects should reflect that for all levels

True, but some people here like it when I push a little bit. :)

How about the theme from "Game of Thrones"?

It needs a cello, or base or whatever that is for perfection, but it doesn't sound too hard and it's short.

I so love the Game of Thrones song.

I love the projects.... Easy or hard.    I think the participation was up because it was right on the heels  the previous project.

Plus its its a familiar song!    So glad to have been a part of it.

Im hope we keep having the projects. deadlines are good too.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Good job buddies!  I wasn't able to make this one due to the timing (hosting my Thanksgiving and my own recital) but sure am proud of all of you who did.  Thanks Pierre.

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.

Great job everyone.  It was fun to be part of this.  Fantastic job putting this all together Fiddlerman.

I wanted to participate in the last project.  I downloaded the sheet music and practiced but my business was just too busy to set a side time to record.

Thanks for doing these projects.  It's nice to have something to practice for a purpose even if I don't get to record them.  There just aren't enough opportunities to play with other musicians.

Oh my word you guys, that was fantastic! As usual! Thank you all! clapheart

I'm very sad about my lack of participation, on this and in general. I fell out of habit and then I moved to a place where the whole house can basically hear every wrong note I play and so I've not dared take it up again. cryI downloaded the files for this and all, but I didn't have the guts to try. After a year of not playing, I'm afraid I'll have to start from scratch anyway. Maybe one day. We're getting better doors that will at least block sound to the stairwell, so then I'll only have my flatmates to worry about...

I was wondering why you chose one over the other. More for the critique value. I was not disappointed in the least, just curious. I do admit, the outdoor version was more of a challenge for me. It was "filmed" in the 20-30 degree range (talk about frequent retuning) and thanks to the many out door sounds I had to make many attempts before I settled on a cut I liked. My daughter was my camera gal and I think she was getting a little... are we done yet dad?... lol..

Truth is that I was going to choose the outdoor video but accidently chose the other one. :(
I used the audio from inside and accidentally used the same video.
The easiest is never to give me any choices. LOL
