Great start :-)

Curve the right pinky and use more of your elbow rather than the shoulder movement.

I like the way you play carefully and smoothly. Your G was high the first time but you corrected it afterwards.

Keep up the great work.

Thanks FM! I will begin to work on that!

I'm just now beginning to become comfortable with the violin.. I know as I practice more I will get the hang of it :-)

Thank you, and God bless you!

Going on a pretty good start for two week's.  I did notice that at 0:43 and 0:56 second's into "Ode", when you played two note's that you stopped your bow and continued on in the same direction. At that point, switch bow direction's also.

Not sure if I'm being clear the way I wrote it, check for yourself.

Very good for such a beginner. You are definitely ahead of me. I will start the A scale tomorrow, but so far it's only been open strings for me. Keep up the good work!

fedol fiddlers...now theres a tongue twister   wink

Youre doing great for week #2.  My tid bit of advice is to watch the video and you'll see that your bow is kind of dancing (rocking a bit) when you should concentrate on staying on a level plane.

Keep up the good practice, youre on your way !!!

There is no shame in playing twinkle, youre playing Mozart

Great job playing! Completely unrelated to fiddle playing, but when you take your videos try not to position the overhead light behind you, that throws off the camera and makes you underexposed (dark). Try and position the light in between you and the video camera ... keep on fiddlin'!
