Hey everyone,
It feels like ages since was last on here! Life has been a little crazy for me in more then one way but I guess thats the way it goes sometimes The violin has definitally helped me out way more then I probably care to admit. Since It's been so bloody long since I last posted I figured I'd start with a critique video. Oh and sorry for the weird face. I have no idea why I decided to make such a weird face while i was playing. hahah
I'm not playing anything in particular then what pops into my head and it sounds alright. Do you guys see or hear anything that i should fix or see bad habits I should nip in the bud? The angle is kind of weird since i'm sitting on the floor and my camera was on the chair but I hope it doesn't hinder much. The sound is a tad off. I think my violin was a bit loud in the room I'm playing for the mic but well I'll stop blabbering and making excuses and just post the video now! Glad to be back with ya'll!! I didn't upload this to youtube so let me know if you have issues viewing it as I just uploaded it to this site.

Thanks fiddlerman!
I probably do need more rosin. I had just cleaned my strings and didn't add any more to my bow I'll work on more pressure and straightening my wrist to. Thank you so much!
I find just playing around I actually relax more and my intonation really seems to improve. When I try to work off sheet music I get tense and frustrated. haha. I still love learning new songs but I try to only use sheet music until I know a tune. Now if I can master the 3rd position I'll try to do some transitions....and vibrato.... and lets not forget double stops....maybe someday hahah. Thats the best part of the violin there is always something to learn and work on!
