This is me playing the Brave Heart Theme along with some midi tracks.  I'm messing around with Apple Logic Pro X.  The non-midi tracks are me on my FM Soloist and my Dixon Tin Whistle.  Recorded using a ribbon mic.  I've been playing now for a little over a year and I thought it was overdue to put something out here of my own, since I enjoy listening to you all so much.

There are a number of places where I miss the rhythm, some places where my intonation suffers and at bar 31 I accidentally hit an adjacent string and make a horrible honking noise.  Also note that the string ensemble is midi -- which sounds much better than I do.

Let me know what you think.

@coolpinkone, @Schaick, @mark_1, thanks.  I appreciate it.  To me, it's pretty wretched, but I only had time to do 2 takes, since I needed to get the lawn mowed before it started raining.  I'll repost it if I can ever get it to sound better.

My primary goal here is to learn more about Logic Pro X. I'm not entirely pleased with it and I have difficulties starting with the microphone all the way through to the mix down into mp3. It's pretty complicated software.

Wow.  That sounds so professional.

Great job Uzi. :)
Thanks for sharing. Look forward to the next recording and maybe having a beer with you the next time you come to Ft Lauderdale.
