Managed to grab a half hour to video on Sunday, no time to do retakes to get guitar and violin in time with each other. Guests will be leaving soon so will have all the time I need.

Sounding good Gil I wish I sounded that good.

With violins there is no fretting over the music.

Great start Gil :)
I really enjoyed your video. You are obviously very musical so I imagine you noticed that the timing with your guitar playing could be better.
Although it's no big deal you can try to keep the fingers closer to the strings when they are not being used, especially the pinky (happens to be the most difficult and common finger to have pointing up :))
Your playing, intonation, bowing... is fantastic for the amount of time you've been playing. Congratulations!
Curious as to why you used the mute?
Would be nice to see your bow arm for future constructive criticism.
Thanks for the post.

Very nice to listen too.  Well done.
