Hi, Im new here. First of all wanna say hello to each and everyone. I've been learning the violin for a year now and wondering how far have I improved. I've made this video for my malay friend who recently tied the knot. The title is selamat pengantin baru (a greeting for newlyweds). Feedbacks are welcome. I wanted to know what are the things that I needed to improve at. Thank yah all.

So my advice would be to try and develop some wrist and finger flexibility to help your bowing smoothout. I liked very much your sound and you seem to be at a good place technique ways so thats the next step. Im also gonna advise you to use a little bit more pressure on your bow when bowing quickly. I like that you are utilizing most of your bow so you are def on your way.

Nice one Black Wing.
I'll agree with the bowing hand, it's a little stiff. It took me a very long time to get some (little) flexibility in mine, but it makes a lot of difference.
Also, the nerves cause your knee to wobble around, this will detract from your intonation.
I find it very difficult to play sitting down, I know lots of people don't have a problem, but maybe just something to think about?
I enjoyed your playing, it will only get better. Keep it up.
If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

Hi Black Wing and welcome. After only one year, you did great! I'm a beginner so the only thing I can mention as Robyn did already, is your leg shaking. Beautiful tune; thanks for sharing.
