I have watched several of these types of videos.  I've started to become more and more interested in the art of actually building a violin and while they are not comprehensive or step by step instructional, one can still learn a great deal.

Not to mention how pleasant it is to watch an artist at work.

Never mind maneuvers, just go straight at them.

That was really interesting! I liked how there was no music or commentary during the video, so you can focus on what he's doing and on your own thoughts. Thanks for sharing it here :D

I kept thinking one slip of that chisel and it was curtains for that violin. wow amazing!
