@DragonEagle Welcome to the forum.

Glad to see the continued interest in the project.  I hope to hear more from you.  Feel free to post your progress and questions.

I will also take a stab at the first part which ended up being to difficult for me.... and see what I can come up with since there is time.

Welcome and enjoy.  The projects are really awesome.

Thanks and cheers.

Toni

That is a fact @coolpinkone - some projects may take more effort than might originally be expected - especially for beginners who may shudder at a key they are not familiar with etc etc....- but it is not rocket science and - it will be worth the effort....

Although I had some practice takes - I also didn't manage to record any finalized take for the GOT project because life got in the way - but - since it is being held "open" - I STRONGLY suggest (both to myself, and to anyone with an interest) to take the time-out to use the play-along track and record a take or two...   absolutely...   plenty of time and once sufficient pieces have been sent in, Pierre will most likely advise us of a "closing date" prior to doing a mix-down....

Cool !

More projects @Fiddlerman - and don't let that creepy feedback on the Xmas project worry you - it was just some kind of freak / pond-life who knows no better.  Please keep the projects coming......

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

Haha... I do that with songs all the time, scare myself away from them if I haven't played in that given key yet, lol. At least all my etudes are finally getting me used to different keys.

@BillyG  I too had some good practice takes and was getting the timing down for the  violin one part.  I enjoyed it. I am not one to shy away from a key.  Since I know where the notes are and how to read them, it makes no difference to me whether it is B or Bb.

At least when we have more time we can put it together.  This one I know will sound really epic and be a big hit.

As for the Troll on YouTube... I hope they get dealt with soon for infringement and possible slander.

Thanks Bill. I'm not discouraged that easily. I finally just had it removed but at first I was hoping that whatever was bothering the user would be straightened out. That they would realize that they are just insecure and paranoid.

Somehow I've lost my ambition... hope to find it soon. I have been interested in this project and now that I am watching the GOT series I have a stirring somewhere deep within to get going with this... How many more submissions are you hoping to have before publishing the final project?

We are way off Ripton. Don't worry, if I make an attempt to push this through, I'll make a better attempt with more social media, videos, etc. Hopefully I'll find time in the near future. 🙂

I've seen through season 2 and every time the score starts up I grab my viola and try to jam... OK, so I've only got a few bars down but at least it has peaked my interest. Now if I could only remember how to tune up correctly... lol, I knida like the castle and knights type of shows so this is right up my alley...

If this project restarts, I will redo some of the stuff I submitted, I think I could do better. Was pretty distracted with school last fall. Season 7 is on now, and I am definitely in the mood for this.
