If you ever get a chance, look up Brianna Kahane on youtube or just visit briannakahane.com and take a look at her videos. She is such a wonderful and talented little girl. She certainly inspires me to keep at it. I probably won't ever be that good, but it certainly is something to aspire to. The emotion she puts into each of her performances and the way she describes what she sees and feels is absoltely breathtaking (at least to me). I would have loaded a video onto here, but I'm still trying to figure that out!
I try to play. I'm working on it. My husband says I'm getting better though, so that's good. Poor guy has to sit through all the squeaks and squawks. LOL. But anyway, I got my violin in the spring of this year. So I've only had it for a few months, but I've been toying with my niece's violin since she started to play a few years ago. I'll tell you what though, it's a whole lot easier to play now that I have the right sized violin. I had never wanted to play until my niece brought hers home from school; then I fell in love. I'm excited for the day when it won't be such a challenge to play.
Thats cool my fiance wants to play too so hopefully we can learn to play together. You will have to let me know how it goes. After i missed the sign ups i thought i would never play anything but after watching my uncles play almost every instrument under the sun i decided i would give it a shot.
