If anyone is interested, here are a couple of clips of my sax quartet playing a few Christmas tunes from a few weeks ago. No violin clips yet, maybe next year!

Very nice! Not sure if I've ever been to Exeter but it reminds me of Portsmouth.

When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.

wow..that was great and it looks like so much fun!  Thanks!

I hope to play like that some Christmas with a group..or my big dream is to go violin Christmas Caroling....

I was going to go in the back yard at midnight and play Auld Lang Syne, but I failed to memorize it and it was too dark for sheet music... OH...and I was sleeping.

Someday I will break out!

KS and CPO, thanks for the kind words.

Exeter is a nice town, very similar to Portsmouth, but much smaller.

Violin caroling would be fun, but probably not in New England, unless there was lot of "spirits"to help with warmth and intonation! It was cold(~25F) with about a foot or so of snow on the ground.  Wasn't as bad as the time I played in Newburyport when it was maybe 10F!

Oh my fingers are cold just watching that!

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.

I just tried and I CAN play a bit with my gloves on.
