Oh, that's a mic? I thought a small alien spaceship was lured by his dulcet tones and had set down to have a bit of a listen.

BTW, good job, Terry.

It was nowhere near as good as Terry's though.

Now back to Ode to Joy and other noob tunes!

I can't wait to see and hear the final results. Hopefully I will be drowned out by other more competent players…duncecap

If you play the right notes, in the right order, you are in the right key.
Simples!

I don't play by ear, so even if it seems like the finger position I will be tortured with doubts until I know the exact technicalities. Pierre confirmed it was F Major on the chatbox yesterday, so today I play completely relaxed knowing where I'm supposed to place my fingers without a doubt lol (still need to work on intonation though). Call this insecurity, it probably is, maybe that's why I like reading my music sheets, it's black on white!

When I'll have years of experience behind me I'll be ready to experiment and explore interpretation. For now I'm secure in my "by the book" approach violin_girl

A slightly different take on "Pirate" to FM but worth a watch if you are trying to master part1 (or any other tbh with the timing)
