Greetings and Merry Christmas from  Carl in Asheville. Im new and have just started playing my 1st violin. A  Mendini  MV300 from KK.  I am 58 years old and have always wanted to play. Been exposed to a whole alot of fiddlin in Asheville.  So with my $60 kit Im learning, thanks to Fiddlerman.  Very soon Im going to get a much better instrument. Fiddlerman is Awesome, and make it fun to learn, I love the website and all the info, blogs and knowing that there are many folks trying to learn like I am. The lessons are really helpful.

Good to have you here.  Around here people never heard of a violin but they know what a fiddle is.  I tell people I am learning violin and they say what? So I'm giving up and just telling them I'm learning fiddle.
