I'm another of those "coming back to violin" people. I had lessons in 4th and 5th grades. Then nothing until now. My grown children got for me the CVN-300, which seems quite the same as the CVN-500 which Fiddlerman recently reviewed. I would vote for Fiddle4fun's video, but I can't figure out how to do so.

So anyway I know stuff ABOUT violin, just have to get to that place where I can DO it. I sure wish that we'd had the Internet back in 1966 when I first started. I never got good vibrato back then, but I think my intonation was pretty ok.

I look forward to the community of players.

Welcome, Charley! You're in good company here. More than a few posters started as kids and then came back to play as adults. We also love sitting around talking (typing?) about violin which, admittedly, cuts into the practice time.
