Hi! I am Stefano, 29, from Venice, Italy
I have bought my first violin one week ago, never played it before, I wanna learn to play it as soon as possible, I really love violin and i find it very relaxing to play it :))
actually i can play just twinkle twinkle little star lol
Actually some of the Suzuki Twinkle variations can really help you with your bowing!
Violinist start date - May 2013
Fiddler start date - May 2014
FIDDLE- Gift from a dear friend. A 1930-40 german copy, of a french copy of a Stradivarius. BOW - $50 carbon fiber. Strings - Dominants with E Pirastro Gold string.
Welcome to the forum Stefano. We're glad to have you here. Twinkle Twinkle is fine for just one week.
It's actually not how many pieces you can play that is important but how you play those pieces. The violin is a sensitive instrument.
Keep us posted!
hey boss to me it's an honor to receive a reply from u! thank u!
and thank you all, especially to Mad Wed
yeah, i have Suzuki books and I find twinkle twinkle variations very interesting!
Two of my favorite tunes to play are from my first weeks of learning, On Top of Old Smokey and Red River Valley.
Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
