Hello everyone my name is Kris and im ready to begin my journey with you all!!! Im completely fresh to the violin with previous musical experience with guitar and drums (Which are obviously completely diff). Ive only been playing for 2 days and have been poking around the sites videos which are really awsome. I learned 2 songs thanks to this website and ready to learn more….if you have any song suggestions or any advice at all please dont hesitate to school me on this AWSOME instrument!dancing

Hey Kris, welcome to the BEST GD site on the planet!  You'll have a lot of fun here and, as you've already noticed, more resources than you can shake a snake at!

In addition to the incredible resources on FM, between Pierre & all the really knowledgeable folks on the forum,,,, I personally would suggest one more resource; The Mark O'Connor lesson books.  They are such a great progression; they start off very easy with the fundamentals and progress really well, with great instruction; btw, I have no affiliation whatsoever with this product, I just use them and I like them a lot.
