Hello Everyone,

I have been trying to play for over 10 years and finally decided to get serious about it.

I like this site and the personable help it offers.

Thanks

We've all heard of 'legato'.

There is a lesser known technique called 'armato'.

There are many rare and precious italian violins : Stradivari, Guarneri, Lupot, Guadanini and most valuable of all, the Lavatori.

Even rarer is the technique known as clamato, used mostly in sea chanties and at cocktail parties.

I'm not quite sure what that's all about, it's 3:30 am here, but then there's "Ken's".

It was a lame joke, on my part anyway, typed when I was very tired and kinda punchy.

Just realized that I forgot to say welcome to lmcneal219! Congrats on finally getting serious about the violin. Hope our lack of seriousness didn't scare you away!

KindaScratchy : Domo arigato Mister Vibrato.

HAHAHA!!!! 1st-place

1. A delicious beverage consisting of tomato juice blended with dried clam broth. Often mixed with vodka or gin as an alternative "bloody mary."

It certainly is better sounding then the "rare" Lavatori mentioned previously.moony-2173

and just so chat police don't accuse me of going off topic, welcome mcneal219. Pull up your craziness, antics, and once in a while something violin in nature.
