I've started playing only a month ago. At first I was practicing with a borrowed violin but as soon as I realized that my love for violin was real, I could not wait any longer for having one of my own.  After much web searching, three days ago I got a refurbished violin from a local luthier. Since I did not know much about violin, I thought of getting a professional help on this. I am enjoying the sound, as it gets better everyday with more practice.  I'm on the school break now that I'm playing all day long, still feel a bit sorry for my roommate, lol.

My instructor is a neighbor friend, who loves to play all sorts of music and always playing music with other neighbors on his patio. I was visiting the patio one day and he goes "do you wanna play a violin?" haha. Althought I've played some instruments as a youth, playing string instruments never crossed my mind. He showed me a few moves and I made some noise. That was enough to ignite my undiscovered passion pink-violin-girl

I feel that the sound of violin can express my feelings better than anything I have known. I feel very intimate with my violin.

Thank you so much for the music sheets and Fiddlerman video lessons! I'm practicing Ave Maria and Swan now, with no vibrato yet.  Vibrato~~~~ back to practice now!

Thank youuu xxx

Awesome, you can use the violin as a singing voice. Keep on it everyone!

Welcome NaoSunflower! Those are some impressive songs for playing just a month. Don't rush yourself with the vibrato. There's plenty of time for that. Have fun!
