OfflineI've come across something new to me. A new piece of music I have for my orchestra has one note of "regular" pizzicato followed by two "snap" pizzicato. I get what it should SOUND like, but not sure of the best way to do it. Is it plucked the same way, just harder, or is there a different way? Thanks!
Just grab the string with two fingers and pull it up. I think it is also called Bartok pizzicato. The string should hit the fingerboard. I believe it's used in a Mahler symphony too. Occasionally on modern or contemporary music. Bass players use it from time to time with jazz, etc.

Coons! Love them! Not so much crocs – they don't have any fur.. Wait a minute… why anyone needs a fur in florida at all… I guess we should have some fury crocs here after Chernobyl… It's just nobody seen them yet.. =)![]()
