Hey, i'm Nir, i'm pretty new to this site and to the violin as well, and just wanted to say this place is really awesome!

I started playing about 2 weeks ago, I play the guitar for 6 years or so tho.

anyway i was wondering maybe any of you know  an app[android] or a PC program that i can keep track of my practice times?

something like click it to start, and click again to end each session. while all the sessions add up would be very cool.

Cheers,

Nir.

That's an interesting idea. I'm sure there is some kind of meter app that you can get that will keep track of the total time when you start and stop it. Kind of like a stop-watch that adds up all the times.
I'll try to remember to look into that.

Thanks for the reply! :)

well i did some looking around before i posted, couldn't find anything good.

so I used the default stop-watch app of android so far, but the problem is it resets sometimes on its own hehe.

so please let me know if you find anything :)

Thanks.

There are quite a few time-tracker apps on Android.

Here's a few of the simple free ones:

Gleeo Time Tracker

https://play.google.com/store/.....merecorder

Timesheet

https://play.google.com/store/......timesheet

Disclaimer:  I have not tried either of these.

And speaking of android apps,  does anyone know where I can get the fiddlerman android app?   The link from the QR code in the news is dead.

I am using this one, which I think is very good, to track my working hours:

Unfortunately, it seems to be an iPhone-app only. But, maybe someone else may be interested in it.
