I would love to play for the public but my biggest flaw is remembering the order of the notes for any songs.

Holy Crap!  This is such a GREAT clip!  Would that not be the ultimate joy, to be able to do that.  This has to be the most engaging group of street performers I've ever seen.

DL, I have the same problem often even with songs that I can hear in my sleep (I know them so well), but I think you'll find, when you play with a group, that it's not a critical issue as long as you learn how to find your way back into the piece.  I'd urge everyone to play with others as often as you can; it's so much fun, and it builds play skills that you can't learn any other way.

I wish I had one of those neck things like the cellist has so I could walk around with my cello and play at the same time!

I've learned so much from my mistakes that I've decided to make some more.

We had a harness for our cellist with Electric fiddlers. It was kind of cool but he couldn't do it for the whole concert. We usually came in one by one with "We will rock you" and even he played running in on stage.
