Your solo was beautiful!  :) I agree with others that it was disappointing that you were hidden behind the stand but if it eased your nerves then it was the right thing!  :D

Congratulations on the performance!! coffee

On "Cheap eBay violins" … Just tell people they are like a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.  With a little love, and some practice, they too can be made beautiful.

I thought you did a great job Mustang! I'm wondering why you were glad it was over? You were picked for the solo and sounded well. Are you just really shy? I was very shy when I was about your age. jimi-hendrix

Mad_Wed, you should totally play in the concert! If I can survive a solo, you can play at a concert! Don't try to escape. amuse What would you be playing?

I don't know yet.. Por Una Cabeza or Ave Maria (J.S.Bach-Ch.Gounod). I play them both equal bad..duncecap

I think it was very lovely, Mustang, but my wife's opinion is the one you really want - from across the room and just a few notes into your solo, she recognized the tune and thought it was really awesome that you played that for Veterans Day, and played it well.

Good job! thumbs-up
