I know…..most of us are so weird about money right?
To give you an example, I sometimes go out with my wife and blow lot's of money on food, drinks and a big tip, then I get online and don't want to spend $5 on a piece of sheetmusic or an electronic download for some great music listening.

How strange is that ????????

LOL Pierre – you have spoiled us so much we expect everyone to put their work up for free, even if it isn't in the public domain yet.

It is super weird I know. Same thing with me, I'm trying to save for new strings but keep spending my saved money on other stuff frown it's like, I DO want new strings but since these ones are not broken, I feel bad at changing them right away lol.

Yep, everyone is willing to spend a lot on a good time and love their music but are not willing to spend a dime towards the music industry. It's sad for sure.

An old schoolmate of mine in the music industry just sold subscriptions to the new stuff he is working on. Brilliant if it works out for him – he has some ready cash while he is working/not touring and his diehard fans get downloads of his new stuff before anyone else. Sort of a modern version of the patronage model of 200 years ago.
