I do make money of the sale. However I want you to get it as cheaply as you can.
I believe that it costs around $50 via USPS to send it to Denmark.
Returns are difficult though, since the shipping two ways is expensive and I can't cover that.
The idea situation is if you find a Danish distributor for the same violin.
Someone here found an Ebay link that sold the CEVN for a lot less to Australia. I would rather you save that money if possible. I'll be happy to get the sale otherwise. Sent one to Sam last week. Hope he gets it soon.

I have no real problems with my CEVN. the only thing I don't like about it is the 1/8 jack for the amp but the send a cord with it.  The bow is another story. It does work but it is by no means a good bow.  I don't think any of these companies put bows in that are worth anything. One of Cecilio's violins comes with 2 bows and 2 sets of strings. Why not just put 1 better bow in and 1 better set of strings on.  I don't think people buy it because it has 2 bows and an extra set of strings and an extra bridge.  Bridges shouldn't break. take out the extras and give good strings and a good bow then the violin will sell better after people hear about the better parts that come with it. Well I'm way off the topic now but in short you might be better off getting a refund and putting toward a Cecilio CEVN.

EXACTLY my thoughts Kevin. I said these things to the manufacturer as well.

Why an extra bridge??? Just to say that you are giving something away. Why two CHEAP bows? Cause they can get them for a dollar a piece. Who knows.

I agree... new strings will probably be my first purchase.  I can't tell a good bow from a bad bow at this point, however, but I'm usually of a mind to have 1 good quality item as opposed to 2+ sub par items.

On the other hand, strings and bows might be more of a personal preference item that people would tend to change straightaway anyhow?  I'm not sure, but among guitarists, everyone seems to like a different set of strings or a specific brand/material/thickness of picks, etc.  Maybe they give you cheap ones knowing you're going to upgrade them ASAP anyway?  Who knows! :)

I'm sorry if i didn't give you more news recently, but i failed an exam recently, and i had to work hard for the re-examination.

As i succed at it so much (i will raise the economic notation of France back to the triple A for sure with my work done), i can come back here !

I also received my money, therefore i am likely to buy my new violin. And my final thought was to buy it from here, because there is no european (or i did not found them) distributor for cecilio's violin.

Expect an order from myself in the coming days fiddlerman !

That's great, al_th.  As my fencing coach likes to say, "If at first you don't succeed, redouble."  Turning a failure into a success is always something to be proud of.

Now, you can get back to important things like scratching away on a violin. amuse

I'll be looking forward to hearing more from you.

Hi fiddlerman,

I had a question about the order on fiddlershop. I was about to confirm my order, and there is a step (4) about delivery method. I assume the shipping will cost neither 0 or 5.95$ to send a violin to denmark, but there is no other option.

Do i have to check the flat shipping rate and the rest of the shipping will be announced after ?

Thank you,

Alexandre

Just pray the customs officials don't open the box and decide among themselves to confiscate it and keep it to play. LOLviolin_girl

Yeah, i was a little bit scared because the women i talked to at the post office was having a lot of difficulties to speak english, but she tried her best to help me and i finally got an email address i could send a mail to have more information.

It just seems they need the bill (that i sent to them directly) to know how much i paid for the violin (what i was expecting) so i'm waiting them to send me the violin (and a little 2 digit bill i have to pay :p)

It's coming closer and closer eheh.
