Hello,

so yesterday I was trying out this exercise and i was able to play it in the end, and was actually kinda fun to play and was also good practice for my pinky and its intonation so thought i'd share it here.

Although, I got 1 question, I was able to play it only with Down up Down up bowing movement and i noticed i am supposed to play it with Legato, any suggestions how to get started with that? i mean i know how to play legato but not that many notes on 1 swipe (for example I am able to play my 1 Octave D major scale with legato but I do a bowchange when I go back up on the scale.)

http://www.violinonline.com/tb4.htm - sheet

http://www.violinonline.com/so.....er/tb4.mp3 - how it's supposed to sound.

Thanks, and hope you enjoy it as much as i did :)

Cool! I play Schradieck too =) Good exercises!

If You feel comfortable to play legato (8 notes D major scale one way)- so start with it. Then switch to 16 per bow. Schradieck has also exercises, supposed to be played 32 notes legato.
