Damn nice job... at a faster frame rate that vid would look awesome.

Nice job ad-libbing that blues instrumental.

bring on more, love the vibrato...thumbs-up

I'm impressed and that doesn't happen often.

Late bloomer said

Thanks  cdennyb, wonder if there is a way to speed up frames?

I suppose that under your options or settings drop down menu of your video capture software you will find some settings for the frame rate, gamma, brightness, etc. etc. and you can specify it. Usually an option is available on most for 15, 20, 30 frames per second or you can just type it in what you want. HQ video is always a fster frame speed.

Can you include any details so we can help get you in HD?crossedfingers

Great Erich. Looks like you are really enjoying yourself too. Way to go. smile
Do you actually hold the violin differently for blues or is it unintentional? ;-)

That was total add lib . Probably couldnt play it exactly the same if you paid me.

When I am doing that, I am not really aware of how I am holding the instrument but I usally keep it pretty level due to solid grounding I got from my first instructer. devil-violin

The back tracks I found on you tube really have helped me with understanding Keys and patterns.  There are tons of them A, B , Bb , D, E , Eb

Although the concept of different keys is something I have known and thougt I understood. It seems that its  just recently starting to click!violin-student

Kinda of like those pictures  of dots you stare at long enough and all of a sudden theres a pony eating a lollipop, exactly

One thing I am curious about is the legality of using those backtracks in a video?  Any thoughts?flag_usa

I'd use em without hesitation. If I find it in the public domain called the internet, I feel it's free to use for my personal enjoyment since I'm hardly making money on the use of them. Just my thoughts.

I wouldn't worry about it either. They are very simple and non creative in general. Not a bad thing just nothing that they should want to get special credit for if you know what I mean.
