Funny thing is that their is a Bluegrass tune called Eighth of January as well. :)

It's not my tune, it's by John Reischman, but it's the title. In one video, John said that the title is the date when he wrote the tune. Here's the original in all it's glory.

Wasn't questioning the title. The tune that I am referring to is actually called Eight of January. It was probably written on the 8th of January too.
