That was great!  Definitely needed a cheery tune with how cold it is today.

Clap clap clap!  So awesome!  I love that song anyways but you play it so impressively lol.  Good job.

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.

Bro, that is great, along with all your posts. I'm hoping and assuming that you are out playing fiddle gigs.
Very relaxed too. One question is if you can hear yourself adequately with those headsets? I usually lift one side off when in a recording studio for example.

Thanks @Georganne.

@Fiddlerman - Thanks! Yeah I play in two different bands right now and get asked to fill in for other fiddlers from time to time. But with two kids under the age of 6 I have to limit my musical endeavors. As to the headphones, yeah I normally wouldn't be able to hear so great, but I have a little bit of the fiddle coming through the head phones (i use a Bartlett clip on mic to record).

Here's one of the bands I play in (for like 12 years now)

And this is the other band:

Eighth of January is a great song.  I have it memorized for the jam I attend, but of course, I play it slow.

Thanks for that video, now I know how it should sound!!

Cool bands!

Haha! Well it's at this big open air folk festival, and there is a huge walkway at the front of the stage, so don't hold it against them too much. You can see a better shot of how the grounds are laid out here:
