Hello everyone
It's an honor to be here and a big thank you for fiddlerman for providing such an opportunity!!!
This is my first post. It's me playing the Godfather theme.
Please any kind of criticism is accepted. I need to perfect this. And please give me your thoughts about the sound of the violin and the vibrato.
I've been playing the violin for about a year and a half.

@Shawrma2 : I didn't see a video. Your intonation is good and your vibrato is coming along. But your violin sounds like a horn.
Try doing a video if you can.

Nice playing Shawrma2, especially for a year and a half. As denny already remarked, that ceiling light is great, though.. Very bright. LOL
Sound was a little thin, but I'd guess that is more what you used to record the vid than the instrument.

Thanks for the video Shawrma2. You are doing great and I believe that Dennis has a great point, your instrument sounds a bit like a horn but it might just be the mic in your camera.
You get a critique badge for this video and I was able to see the video above too btw.... I guess it's hard for us to have the formats that work on all computers, OS's and browsers... Youtube seems to be the best solution for this site so far as you probably figured out since you reposted the video that way.
My suggestion is that you learn to straighten your left wrist. It's hard to break bad habits but it will be much easier to play down the road. You'll also find that you can reach more notes that way especially on the G string. Many techniques are not doable in that position.
