A dear friend and I recorded this song recently as an anniversary present to her husband.  It was a first time for both of us to record professionally, and it was really awesome! Unfortunately, we didn't have much time, so we couldn't really "perfect" the song as much as we would have liked.  I still think that it turned out really well! What do you guys think?

Here's the song:

I tried to do some weird slideshow with lots of violin pics.... but then I gave up and just settled for a couple of pictures of my violin. The picture of the painted one that is in there briefly is a cheap violin that my grandmother painted as decoration :)

We did not write this. It's a song by the artist Jason Mraz. We should write a song though! That might be fun.

Very cool.

I might have shared this earlier but here is my daughter (Joanna Holstein) singing it with a friend (Trip Sirna).

Wow. I hadn't heard this song before, but I looked up the original on YouTube just now. And I've gotta say both Jake's and Joanna's covers are heaps better than that. Much more alive. Well done! clap Plus Joanna and Trip's video is lovely.

Wow! Both versions are great. I already liked this song, but I agree with Almandin, these versions are better than the original.

BTW, Pierre, your daughter is both pretty and talented! You must be very proud.

thumbs-up
