Last Friday Borderline Blue played a two hour set in the front window of a local coffeehouse; and on Amaraillo By Morning I played fiddle

Sorry the audio level of the violin is fairly low; just an iPhone camera and its built in mic in the back of the coffee shop

Yeah, it's a bit low in the mix, but you couldn't help that. Can still hear it, well enough to say..

thanks for the kind words, all. @Fiddlerman, I had a multitrack recorder set to go but didn't trigger to start for a section of the set including this song. ; otherwise for the video I could have compensated for the audio level problems in the live mix. Nonetheless, I was happy with the intonation and sound, even if the front-of-house level turned out to be too low. In the auduience it was a little bettter than what the iPhone picked up for the video, farther behind the audience. gws

Nice done, Gary! XD I guess it's not only the violin was too low, i think guitar was so as well, and the bass - too high, so You're not alone.
