You did great with Boilin Cabbage Down! drooling I've been playing as long as you (a week, almost) and if I could play that song my husband and kids would be soooooo proud. It really is "the only song that they can sing" and they have verses of it for each person in the family. Ooh I see you used a book for that… I must get that book! Someday I hope to play as well as you did. hehehehe

Thanks again for the good words. The book is Fiddlerworks #1. It's made by people in Canada who are trying to promote fiddling with workshops etc. I like it because it comes with a CD with accomp. and has a lot of variation depending on what level you are at.
