Ok I hope the sound issue is fixed, this was made with my new webcam. WoW 1 month already I can't believe it I feel like I started last week only birthday-cake click on the youtube link because I think it's cut a bit on the right side with the forum fixed width.

Aha! You are now entering the phase where you know there are so many things to learn. Keep going, all the little things will improve, especially as you now have the knowledge of what you want and should be doing, ( even if you think they are getting worse before they do).
Your entertainment value is 100%, love it!!

Thanks all hehee, for next month I want to simply go back to Twinkle and other easy songs and really practice them until they sound great! Sad Romance was to check how far I can go with changing strings and 4th finger (all 4 strings in that song). I know I can stop here and practice, practice, and maybe add some easy slurs. Then I'll see what the next step is! violin_girl

You're really happy and energetic, thats nice to watch. I tend to play with a grumpy face and that puts people off. 1 month and you're already playing sad romance! (a little sharp in some spots but nothing that cant be fixed) I'm highly impressed. I remember rotex and I both put up a sad romance video around the same time last year. I can't seem to find the thread anymore but mines here:  <-- just incase you wanted to hear it since its the same song

Yep! I saw your stright wrist! thumbs-up =) It will be extremely useful when You'll start changing positions. Try to practice this piece a little slower and concentrate on the intonation. Good stabile sound!

Happy ONE month…… That is really cool. I can only agree with everyone about how entertaining you are. Many people start with the progress postings and quit. You are still going strong and that persistence will get you far. One of the secrets of success is to be persistent, even though my favorite secret to success is "Do it NOW".

I will never twist your arm but you might, "for experiments sake" try playing scales in the key signature of the piece that you will be playing just before working on the piece. It's not necessary but it may help finger placement.

You have made fantastic advancement and I always get a kick out of your videos. Keep it up.

I agree that the sound and picture quality is much better with your new webcam. :-)

NV, Great job; I always know that if I click on one of your vids, I'm going to be entertained smile; and you're surely coming along musically; happy anniversary, hopefully your violin took you out to a romantic dinner and stroll.

Also, great improvement on sound an video quality; very easy to hear!  Keep up the great work!

Actually, monsieur le marquis (yep I finally named him) is playing hard to get and snobbing me. I'm not upper class enough for his taste and he refuses to open up to me just yet facepalm I was hoping french rosin would do the trick alas!
