You have a great appearance even back then you did. You always look full of energy and happy with what you are doing.

Love the violist's hair in the first piece.

Now, regarding that TV show....do tell more. Are Swedes that knowlegable about music that they can discuss quartet composers? I'd love to see that show in America....we'd be lucky if most people could succesfully identify the cello out of the quartet.

Did you know Swedish before you moved there? I took the ferry to Stockholm for a weekend once. I was younger...though old enough not to behave the way I did....I spent the weekend literally doubled over laughing at words that meant one thing in English and another in Swedish. I won't expound.embarassed

Ya, I love Torbjörns hair too. Wish I had that kind of hair.

I would have posted the whole show but I don't think I am allowed and it is like 30 minutes long. The contestants were amazing and not only knew the first piece but so many details about it as well. I almost believe that they are given information at the beginning. Or tipped off somehow. Usually they have music professors and such playing the game.

The word that they don't want to write is "Fart" which means speed in Swedish.

That was a joke. I was wearing my wives reading glasses and making a face. Where did you find that picture. Is that on Facebook?

Yep. Reminds me of Stormare's character in Fargo.

One wonders if the damage would have been as severe had the chicken not been tied to the barrel.

There are a number of funny psuedo-cognates between German and English, too - "Fahrt" being one of them. "Shower" always managed to induce titters in class when we were translating to German as well...

amuse Very interesting videos! I like your interpretation (or expression maybe) of Bach. I think you have right point of view to that music. I've heard another violinists playing this, and everyone have own opinion about how it must sound..

Hope someday i'll be able to play that too amuse

I guess I liked having fun on my gigs. LOL

This was not a regular concert for us. It was a crowd pleaser type of thing and we could always fool around a little more on those occasions and get away with it. Harder to do that with symphony concerts.

That guy in the background is hilarious.

That is an alive example of noncommercial-pure-fun! Works like one-click antidepressant for me! All my friends, i've sent the link appreciated it very much! Maybe russian mad girls have weird point of view on reality.. that make us be so touched by those things.. So, please, if you will make some more videos like that, post it!
