Ok, so after failing to find any sheet music for this I decided to just learn this song myself from listening to it. I have scored and recorded the first part which you can find attached. The rhythm I have scored is probably not perfect, I guess there is a kind of swing feel to the way its played that is not captured in the scoring..

The song is not hard to play once you've figured it out. I'm now working on scoring and recording the rest. Let me know if anyone would like to see the final scoring, or a video of how to play it. Since I'm going to the effort of doing it myself I guess I may as well share!

I apologise for the recording quality, its played on a borrowed violin with no shoulder rest and recorded on my laptop mic…

Thanks for the welcome! This sure seems like a great site. I can't wait to try out some of the blues tips I just watched!

Cheers,

Dave

Playing the blues is fun. I wish I had more time to just hang out with friends and jam.

Here is the score of the whole lead violin part and an mp3 of me playing the second part of the song.

I haven't done the last part of the song yet because the violin is only accompanying so its a bit harder to score!
