Find your YouTube video and press the Share button just below it.
Next to the Link to this video, click on the "show options" and choose "Long link"

Example: http://www .youtube.com/watch?v=rz1qP5f-5WY

NOW THE TRICKY PART !!! MODERATE THE LINK !!!

Remove the watch?v=  and type v/ in its place

The above link will look like this: http://www.youtube.com/v/rz1qP5f-5WY

Make sure that the v is surrounded by /v/

Write a title, highlight the title, press the link button above, and paste the new moderated youtube link in the Link URL field and press "Insert".

Voila!!!!!

Cool, what about just uploading videos from our computers to this site and not using Youtube. Is there a preferred video file format for that?

Thank-you! I'm not quite ready to share, but I was looking for a tutorial to upload videos for later.

I think you can make your youtube videos private so only those who have the link can view it. It won't come up in the search on youtube.

Of course you can do that too. Flash, quicktime, windows media.

I'll be working on better ways to do this later. Most likely I won't have time to do much at all before leaving to Sweden on Friday though.

I was mainly referring to embedding videos in general that are already on YouTube. We're having problems with the resizing and such. Sara is right too by the way, you can make it private and choose who can see it.

By all means feel free to upload your videos here and share what method works the best. We have had a few.
