We are currently transferring Fiddlerman.com to a new dedicated server which may both cause slower loading speeds and at some point, down time. Also, some of the posts you make on the forum may be lost on the restore. Everything should be back to normal within a few days and hopefully we will have a quicker site as well. Thanks for your patience.
I have been working on a piece called "Going Home" by Mary Fahl for a while now and I think I finally combined enough random sheet music and sound bites into a good version for violin!
I was wondering if anybody would like to try it and give me some feedback!
The song is very simple and has a ton of room for added emotion! I'm starting to go cross-eyed from it after working on it for a while and thought it would be best to have a fresh set of eyes and ears!
I haven't seen a violin version of this song anywhere on Youtube and only a few piano versions. So I thought, why not give it a shot? With as much emotion a violin can project, this song should be written for violins!
Here's the jpeg version of the song. I can send the PDF version if you want, but for some odd reason, I have a hard time loading those onto this site. The main violin part is meant for 2 violins so they can split the double stops. Obviously, the main melody is always the top part!
