Hey everyone!
I have been working on a piece called "Going Home" by Mary Fahl for a while now and I think I finally combined enough random sheet music and sound bites into a good version for violin!
I was wondering if anybody would like to try it and give me some feedback!
The song is very simple and has a ton of room for added emotion! I'm starting to go cross-eyed from it after working on it for a while and thought it would be best to have a fresh set of eyes and ears!
I haven't seen a violin version of this song anywhere on Youtube and only a few piano versions. So I thought, why not give it a shot? With as much emotion a violin can project, this song should be written for violins!
Here's the jpeg version of the song. I can send the PDF version if you want, but for some odd reason, I have a hard time loading those onto this site. The main violin part is meant for 2 violins so they can split the double stops. Obviously, the main melody is always the top part!
