Oh heck... I'm out of ideas... I wonder why no "JellyCaster" option.... interesting...
Also interesting that test mode worked previously....
Ummmmm....
This ain't gonna help right here, right now, but - the boss at SJ Frank Podlaha ( aka Frankie ) is really helpful and a well-cool-guy into the bargain. It is maybe worthwhile mailing him ( I *think* it is just [email protected] - but ask for Frankie ) to describe your issue... he's pretty much on top of all these issues.
When I first registered, I totally failed to get any notification of artists I had marked as favorites - just never got any - Frankie spent the best part of several hours with me, and eventually the only way I got it to work was to change my email address to a USA side provider ( I chose gmail ) and have THAT email account forward to my real address.... Just saying that he took the time to work through all of it.....

Whew! That was fun! Good to get my first performance in a new venue.
You may have seen my bow shaking through the whole thing. New venues always do that, and all the software/hardware drama didn't help at all.
(Also, sorry about being so disorganized. I was planning to take a few minutes to get everything together before I started the show, and that obviously didn't happen.)

Yea, I saw you were really chill throughout all the technical problems, then as soon as you announced that the show is beginning you got really nervous and took it out on the bow But regardless you did a really awesome performance and it was super enjoyable!
Sorry for all the bad jokes (for the record Tom and Jerry does have lots of classical music haha), was just trying to lighten up the mood since I saw you were nervous, but if it was too much, sure.. the whole zombie-clapping thing works just as well for me!
Again, I'm just being super silly here, it was a really good show and I'm looking forward to the next one!
Cheers (I'm off to watch the replays of Billy and Mandy now! ha!)
Ohhh... @AndrewH - glad you got it going.... and sorry I missed you (I bailed out to listen to the 10pm news....)
Oh yes - I had forgotten - I believe @damfino is correct - the "JellyCaster" mode is possibly only available after you have become some kind of "regular contributor / performer" on SJ. I don't know what the actual metric is that they apply - possibly number of shows or maybe frequency of shows ? It certainly happened automatically (this "level 2" thing) for myself and Mandy
Anyway - you're on my "favorites" list - so I'll get notified by email whenever you schedule a show !
Congrats on your first SJ performance and great to have another player on-board for Strings on Sunday - thank you - yeah -
EDIT: Oh yes - once you reach this "level 2 artist" thing - you get access to the JellyCaster mode which allows you to both (a) Select a show for replay on SJ for the next 24 hours, and separately (b) start a recording of your show.
The "Replay" (available to anyone) as I say remains there for 24 hours
The recorded show is an mp4 file, available to you and only you through your account, and is held on the SJ servers for 30 days.

Just got to watch @BillyG and @damfino through the replay. WOW! That was really great performance by both of you! I prefer more classical music and haven't listened to folk all that much, but the way you guys played it makes me want to learn those types of songs too! I hope to be as good as both of you one day! Great job and will join you in the near future.

Thank you Rodas @ryonass - really it is all about having fun and just doing the best we can - we'll usually play a few pieces we know well, and also maybe spend some time exploring new tunes and briefly chatting about what we find difficult about them and so on.
I set up the "Strings on Sunday" thing with help from Mandy somewhat over a year ago. The concept is - if you have the opportunity to join in and schedule a show - that's great - but there's no pressure to commit to every single week (nice when we can of course). Yesterday we had a new artist @AndrewH - doing his first SteetJelly show - unfortunately due to technical issues and a delay in starting, I missed his show.
......and will join you in the near future.
The more the merrier - EXCELLENT ! Please do !

The next Strings on Sunday get-together (10th Dec 2017) overlaps an actual http://www.streetjelly.com scheduled event "Jelly Jingle" - if you are planning to play - feel free to headline your show as either the usual "Strings on Sunday" if you don't know, or don't care to play seasonal tunes, OR "Jelly Jingle" if you can include a mix of traditional seasonal tunes into your set.... It would be nice if you could choose the "Jelly Jingle" to support SJ - especially since Frankie - Frank Podlaha kindly set up a featured event for our fiddling Amateur Hour some time back.....

Yes, @JamesRSmithJr - that's me (the "mad" referred to my degree of anger at my first instrument, not my lack of sanity... hmmm - could be the other way round I guess )
I don't think Rob is a member here, but he is a regular SJ performer, often on guitar, and he likes to join our get-togethers from time to time.
And I'm really sorry @RockingLR33- I was experiencing multiple problems and was unable to see or hear any of your show - once I did manage to get the chat window shown, but still no video/audio stream. I think it was my internet, I was having similar issues trying to watch an SJ replay.... But thanks so much for taking part !
Until the next time....
