Is Fiddlerman's HOTRSP inspired by Ennio Morricone?
... or am I just crazy?

I am detecting little phrases and nuances that sound oddly like some of the themes I've heard in the Eastwood "spaghetti westerns".   I can't recall which ones they are but it's an unmistakable impression.

Am I right?  Is there the hand of the movie maestro here?

Have a listen:

@PopFiddle  at first I wasn't hearing it.   But I sense some kind of style or something.  Maybe someone else that knows the scale or type of music can put it to better wording than I can.

I sat through the digital click track performance and I hear it less.  But when you are practicing the 2nd, 3rd or 4th violin parts the sound is much more reminiscent.  Especially there is a little 1/32 note run in there that has that same quality, along with some other fast accompanying runs.

Those movie themes are pretty stark.  I don't think there is any violin in any of them.  But if there was I think there would be a similarity.  There is also the key and mode of HOTRS itself which might be close or the same.
