You looked like you were having fun! A little post-concert stress relief?

And Kevin, you really had me watching for FM to sneak in a spin during the song LOL

Did you guys ever hear my story of when the violin went flying in the orchestra and everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to look at me...... I used to spin my violin like that kind of regularly and once my stand partner asked me if I could do it in the other direction. Problem is that in that direction it comes outside of my fingers instead of into and inside..... I can still see it flying like a helicopter in slow motion in front of my stand partner who slowly backed away and watched it fly all the way to the ground and bounce gracefully all on the wooden stage. Some how I was able to pick it up, tune it while everyone watched, and told the maestro "OK".

He just said "OJ"

When I had tuned again and said "OK" he just returned to business but my face must have been as red as Santa's suit and I was sweating something fierce.

I still plan to post a video.  I'll see if I can get it done this weekend, if that isn't too late?

Oh, good. I really liked this tune but won't be able to get to it until after I do something for "He's a Pirate"

You might go ahead and give it a try, I think Barry will start a new tune for April and it seems like the Pirate thing hasn't lifted off yet.  I want to do the pirate song too... lol, there's so much stuff to learn and I have so little time to play. :(

Not to revive a "zombie" thread, but....

I have been working on Angelina Baker. I have the fingering and bowing for the first half figured out. I am stumped on how to play the second half. dazed

Anyone want to post a slo-mo vid of how to do it? beg

I need to be able to see fingering and bowing both - or just say which strings to play for the drones. I am using the sheet music off of this site.

What music sheet or tutorials are you using Didi, I was not a member here yet for that project if it was one and I don't see that song in my Fiddleworks songbook either.

Barry that would be great.  I had it down pretty good but it's the bowing that I have a problem with.

Great! thanks Barry! BTW that is not the same notes as on the sheet music I printed off of here.

I figured that part out when I listened to you play on the video - some of the notes were off from what I was playing which is why I couldnt make it sound like any of the youtube videos.dazed

[Not to hijack the thread, but my next project is "Faded Love" and I don't think I have good music for that eitherfrown]
